Happy New Year!

A brand new year! What to do with it!? The possibilities are endless. Whatever you want to do with the opportunity is up to you! Enjoy! I have heard many people say that 2018 was a difficult year, and I cannot lie – I faced my own challenges. But there was lots of good things that happened for me and our family in 2018.

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of my wonderful clients! 2018 brought some changes to KCP! And 2019 will have even more! I will be updating my session fees and pricing this month. I will also be planning out the calendar for the year. My session availability is limited. I want to create a unique portrait experience for my clients with special wall art and creative portrait options.

I am very excited about the upcoming year. There will be a special every month! I will post on the blog and Facebook! So check those out! I will be having 2 limited edition mini events this year! One in the spring and one for Christmas! Spaces will be very limited, so book early!

Fall Sessions

I am so excited that it is starting to cool off and the leaves are just starting to change! October is a great time for family pictures. We can create Christmas cards and beautiful wall art for you to hang in your home and give as gifts.

Is it Fall yet?

Hi there!

Ok - the calendar says it’s fall, the weather is no longer in the 100s, Pumpkin Spice is everywhere and football has started (thank goodness - it is my favorite season!), but it still doesn’t feel like fall! I am ready for the cooler weather, sweaters, jeans and boots!

Just a reminder that Fall minis are Sunday, October 28th! SIgn up for your session today. Only 10 sessions total! Fall is a great time to update your family portraits, take an image to use for your family Christmas card and to plan to give as gifts to your loved ones! Schedule your session soon!

The beginning of Fall is also the time where we start to think about the upcoming holidays. It seems like one is barely over when another is upon us. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year’s are all in only a 63 day span! Life gets so hectic. This year, I would like to ask that you each take a moment everyday to reflect on all the things that make you happy and thankful. Remember that this is not a wonderful time of year for many. Take the time to be kind. One smile can change a person’s entire day! Take the time to say I love you to friends and family and enjoy each day - choas and all!

Lots of New Things at KCP

Hi there!

There are lots of new and exciting things at Kris Copeland Photography! These new things include the new Portrait Reveal Sessions, the Class of 2019 Senior Ambassador Program, a top secret photo session with Santa himself at the North Pole, the Fall Mini Sessions, the Santa and Me Mini Sessions and the new integrations between the website, scheduling and client management systems!

The new Portrait Reveal Sessions are wonderful! Within one week of your session, we arrange a time to meet for your portrait reveal. I can come to your home or we can meet somewhere else convienent to allow you to see your images for the first time and order your portraits. I want my clients to have all the images they want, so payment plans are available!

The Class of 2019 Senior Ambassador Program is off to an amazing start. I have six wonderful ambassadors. They are Laney from Airport, Austin from River Bluff, Sarah from Brookland-Cayce, Jordan from White Knoll and Kiera and Stephanie both from Dutch Fork. They have all had their first sessions with me. Each has a special discount code that they will share with you to get you $50 off your session with me! The Class of 2019 rocks!

KCP’s Class of 2019 Senior Ambassadors

In October, I will be traveling to the North Pole! Santa has asked me to come and create some new portraits for him and Mrs. Claus! I am super excited for the opportunity! I can’t give any more details, because we all know that Santa’s workshop is in a secret location. I am not even sure how I am getting there! Santa’s magic, I guess!

I am excited to announce my Fall Minis on Sunday, October 28th! There are only 10 sessions available, so get yours today. These 20 minute session are $150 of which $100 is good towards your print purchase! These are great for Christmas cards and gifts! If all ten sessions fill, one lucky client will get an additional $25 print credit!

December 2nd will by my Santa and Me Mini Sessions. There are only 15 sessions available! These 20 minute sessions include portraits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a chance for your child to check the nice list for his or her name, a gift from Santa’s sack and a treat from Mrs. Claus! The D Maternity

Hey y'all!

As a photographer, it is my privilege to work with lots of people. I recently had the most amazing experience with the D family. Now, I have done maternity sessions before with just the mom to be, or the mom-to-be and her significant other & older kids. I have had the grandma-to-be come on occasion as well! This session was special - mom-to-be, her significant other, her little boy, her mom, her dad, her 2 sisters and her brother! What an incredible family! Everyone of them loving, sweet and incredibly helpful! We had the best time! 

This little fella due next month is going to be one lucky and very much loved little guy!

Can't wait to meet this little guy! Congratulations to the whole family!

Can you believe another year is almost over? 2017 has been a wonderfully busy and crazy year both personally and professionally. Professionally I have slowed down some, but hoping to kick it back up in 2018. Personally, I was responsible for taking care of my father who's health has been declining for years. He passed the day after Thanksgiving. His care took a lot of my time.  I decided to go back to school as well. I am pleased to announce that I have earned a certificate in medical billing and coding with a 4.0 GPA! See you are never too to learn! 

Professionally, I plan to continue my photography business as well as work in the medical field part time. I like to be busy!

School is starting!

Happy Birthday America!

Wow! June has been busy! I am a little behind in posting due to shoulder surgery earlier this month! But I have been busy adding lots of pictures to my shootproof site! I have added AHS at the Lower State Baseball game, the AHS Spring Football game, the AHS Student Government Induction, Teacher Cadet Honor Cord Ceremony, the Senior Awards Assembly and Graduation! Congratulations Seniors!

Hi y'all - 

I can not believe that another school year is almost over! 2 weeks until graduation for my Eagles! I am so proud of the class of 2016! I might be a little partial, because my Baby Girl is the Senior Class President! Some of these kids I have known for 13 years! I cry every year at the graduation. It is a good cry - I am proud of the students of Airport!

Today - I had the pleasure of photographing the signing day for the Airport Class of 2016! This is probably the largest signing class for Airport! Baseball Senior Night

Hey y'all -

It is a busy time of year! The spring sports are winding down - Baseball and Softball start play offs tonight. Soccer playoffs start next week! It is always fun to watch my Eagles play - but at the end of every season - I get a little sad. The seniors are leaving. They are onto new and exciting things! Their parents, teachers, coaches and fans (including me) are so proud, but also a little sad. We can't wait to see what great things they will achieve, but we are going to miss them playing for the Eagles!

Where does the time go?!?

Hey y'all!

Get the kleenex! Where does the time go? It seems like just a couple of years ago, I was giving birth to my beautiful baby girl and now in just two months - she will walk across the stage and receive her high school diploma! Many of my friends are going through the same thing! And although I couldn't be any more proud of the amazing young lady she has become, I miss her being little!

And being the photographer's daughter, she had to have a little fun with her senior portraits! Cap and gowns included!

Baby Girl, remember that I love you to the moon and back and to infinity and beyond! And you have an angel who is smiling down from heaven telling all the other angels - "Yup, that one - she's mine!!!" Your Pops, grandparents, siblings, cousins and friends are very proud of you as well!

The next two months are going to go by so fast - prom, last dance recital, senior week and then graduation! I am going to need a lot of kleenex!

And to all the other moms with babies graduationg - I will say a prayer of peace for you! We are going to need all the prayers that we can get!
